Tonara, teacher dies after falling from balcony while feeding cat

Mariano Peddio, a 52-year-old physical education teacher originally from Desulo, did not make it. This afternoon he was the victim of a serious domestic accident in Tonara: he died in the hospital in Sassari where he had been transferred aboard the emergency helicopter.

Peddio   he fell a few meters after falling from a ladder that was on the balcony of his home, in the Teliseri neighborhood: he had climbed up to feed a cat when the support suddenly gave way.

In the fall he had hit his head violently, suffering serious injuries.

The fifty-two-year-old was transported by helicopter to the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Sassari, where he was put into a coma. Unfortunately, he never woke up.
