Over 100 counterfeit toys of various brands and types were seized in a Porto Torres shop by officials of the Excise, Customs and Monopolies Agency (ADM) of Sassari and the Porto Torres Operations Section, together with the local police .

The operator is sanctioned : the fine ranges from a minimum of 1,500 euros to a maximum of 10,000 for having placed toys that do not comply with safety standards on the market on the national territory.

The seized products do not have the necessary CE marking, the relative warnings in Italian, and in some cases bear a non-compliant CE marking .

Among the other objects also some Huggy Wuggy puppets , increasingly popular in the contents viewed by children on YouTube (without CE marking and labeling) and last May subject, among other things, to a prudential notice by the Police Postal and declared dangerous for children.
