There is a kiosk to be moved .

In Oristano ten years ago the Municipality had planned the construction of the north-west ring road to lighten traffic within the city . After a long tug of war with a committee that disputed the layout so much that it even appealed to the President of the Republic, the works started but are not yet concluded.

They have been blocked for several months . Because costs have jumped also due to inflation and because a 50 square meter kiosk needs to be moved in Viale Repubblica where a young entrepreneur, thanks to a project financed for 50,000 euros by the Municipality, has been managing a rental for nine years of bikes . The kiosk is expected to be torn down to make way for a roundabout. The entrepreneur and the Municipality argue but without finding a solution.

The mayor Massimiliano Sanna asks for a quick closure and in order to get out of it he has proposed to move the activity to another space , a solution which however the private sector does not agree with. While it is increasingly probable that the matter will have to be dealt with by the civil court, what is certain is that time passes and the ring road is at a standstill.
