Another majestic sculpture on the beach of Platamona , this time dedicated to revolutionary women , who have been claiming their equality with men for centuries. Nicola Urru, the artist from Nuoro specialized in the creation of sand sculptures, in the Terzo Pettine, along the Sorso coast, with his works invites us to reflect on the future of a changing society, where the role of the female figure is increasingly central in the professions and in the family environment.

The ingredients for building the sculpture near the sea are always the same, sand and water blended to give shape to the gigantic work of art , an ephemeral imprint of a work created with passion, down to the smallest details, destined to disappear as soon as the waves of the sea will overwhelm it.

But, evidently, the message is different. It doesn't matter if the sand breaks down, the meaning of the representation of an image created with a particular style called "land_art_de_rena", an expression of a suggestive art that is renewed from time to time, remains.
