Prosecutor Andrea Jacopo Ghironi has investigated Giovanni Puligheddu, 71, a hunting companion (represented by lawyer Giovanni Angelo Colli), for manslaughter . Puligheddu voluntarily presented himself at the police station and admitted his guilt . The tragedy occurred Sunday afternoon in the Sa Serra reserve , when a wild boar suddenly emerged, causing Puligheddu to fire a shot, hitting Andrea.

The man leaves behind his wife and a 10-year-old child.

The victim's body has been returned to the family: the funeral will be held tomorrow at 3 pm in the parish of Sant'Ignazio di Loyola in Oliena .
