The agreement between the parties, residing in a municipality in the Olbia area, was reached without even a court hearing, but through "assisted negotiation": the two women found an agreement on the methods of separation and also on the custody of a minor son, to then present the terms to the Procura di Tempio which simply gave its clearance.

As mentioned, the agreement also concerns the custody of a minor child: the child will be primarily with the non-biological mother but may also be with the biological one. A choice motivated by the commitments of the two women and therefore to "put the well-being and happiness of the child first".
