The history of Olbia football shines again through the restoration of the commemorative slabs of the "Bruno Nespoli" stadium, named after the homonymous player who died on 25 January 1960 following a game accident during the Olbia-Carrarese match.

It is no coincidence that the announcement came today, on the day in which Olbia-Carrarese on the 33rd day of Serie C is being played at "Nespoli". In memory of the young Tuscan goalkeeper, originally from Sansepolcro, who played in the white shirt unfortunate championship.

«Thanks to the intervention of the municipal administration - underlines Olbia Calcio through social channels - the three historic commemorative slabs positioned on the boundary wall of the Curva Mare have been restored: the one for Bruno Nespoli, the one for the great Turin who perished in Superga and that for players from Olbia. A significant piece of Olbia's history restored to the splendor it deserves».
