Olbia, head-on collision at dawn on SP73: four girls and a man in hospital

Road accident this morning shortly after 6.30 on the SP 73 , on the bends just before the junction for Portisco .

For reasons yet to be ascertained , two cars collided head-on.

Five people were injured, four girls in one car and a man in the other : all of them had to be transported to the hospital in Olbia by the 118 staff, who intervened with four ambulances.

Firefighters secured the vehicles and the road, which is still closed in both lanes.

The Highway Police and the Ecozoofile Guards were on site.
