The October in Poetry Festival, celebrating its 20th anniversary, is holding a summer preview. Award-winning writer Gesuino Némus will be the featured artist at the Poetic Workshop. The event will take place on Saturday, June 27th at 6:30 pm on the terrace of the Tavolare Pavilion in the Sassari Public Gardens.

Introduced by Leonardo Onida, the festival's creator, the Jerzu-born writer will be interviewed by Giorgio Demuru about his latest book, "The Little Girl Who Saw the Eyes of God," which he is presenting as a national preview. Readings will be curated by Fiammetta Moretti.

This is an unconventional book, full of twists and turns and featuring never-before-seen narrative forms, a truly unique language that confirms Némus as one of the most prolific and brilliant writers of recent decades.

Last March, Gesuino Nèmus received the Lifetime Achievement Award as part of the activities of the International Literary Prize of the City of Sassari.
