Dramatic road accident on Saturday evening on State Road 131 , at the Nuraminis junction. A driver lost his life after the van he was traveling in went off the road, ending up against the guard rail: his name was Matteo Porcu, he was 46 years old .

According to an initial reconstruction, the man lost control of the vehicle for reasons yet to be ascertained. The impact was extremely violent: the van literally impaled itself on the metal barrier. There was nothing that could be done for the driver: he died instantly.

The 118 emergency services, firefighters and law enforcement promptly arrived on site, securing the area, recovering the man's body and starting investigations to clarify the dynamics of the accident.
