A cursed street, by now. Another traffic accident occurred this afternoon, shortly after 5:00 PM, on Viale Murichessa in Nuoro . It's a short distance from where motorcyclist Luigi Canna lost his life on June 8th.

This time the collision occurred in front of the Città Giardino neighborhood. The car-motorcycle collision resulted in one seriously injured person, who was taken to San Francesco Hospital .

A 35-year-old motorcyclist from Nuoro is not in danger of life but reportedly suffered significant trauma to his lower limbs and a suspected fractured pelvis .

The collision appears to have been caused by a failure to give way, just as happened just over two months ago in the accident that killed Canna.

The motorcycle, a Honda CBR, was headed toward Nuoro. The small car, driven by a pensioner, was about to turn onto a narrow farm road.

The impact was violent. The motorcyclist flew several meters and ended up in a ditch .

Firefighters, emergency medical services, police, and municipal police were on site to carry out surveys.
