With the reconfirmation as president of Michele Tatti, the congressional campaign which at a territorial level involved the Association of Mutilated and Invalids at Work in eight zonal congresses and, finally, in the provincial assembly, which elected the new council, also ended in Nuoro. provincial body which last Saturday elected the new bodies with the reconfirmation of Tatti who in the second mandate will be supported by vice-president Angelo Piras (Tortolì) and by councilors Maria Caterina Demurtas (Macomer), Franco Moi (Gadoni), Gesuino Pintus (Orotelli), Antonella Pirisi (Gavoi) and Mario Zolo (Bolotana), while Francesco Tolu will represent the people of Nuoro in the regional council.
At the next Council meeting already called for July, the zonal coordinations will be established and the next commitments will be set.
The congressional debate laid the foundations for a relaunch of the activity of the association which protects disabled workers together with widows and orphans: a renewed impetus also recorded at a national level where for the first time the 9 Sardinian delegates managed to obtain three places on the council elected at the end of the recent congress in Pescara.
