Nuoro, debris falls from the former Civic Market, blocking traffic.

Some debris broke loose from the cornices of the former Civic Market in Nuoro this morning, likely following the rains that have hit the area in the past few hours . The debris fell onto the sidewalk on Via Manzoni, fortunately causing no injuries.

The fire brigade was immediately notified , and they rushed to the scene to carry out the necessary checks and secure the affected area, also with the aid of a crane.

At the same time, the Nuoro Local Police ordered a temporary suspension of traffic to allow for intervention operations and ensure safety during the removal of the hazardous materials.
