Ninety days of closure. It is the sanction that hit a bar in the San Donato district of Sassari, where the local police, during an inspection, found various irregularities.

The intervention of the brigade was triggered after a long series of reports from residents, both at the Command and at the Police Headquarters.

Over time, the inhabitants of the neighborhood have in fact reported - explain the brigade - continuous noises, day and night, loud music, repeated fights, drug sales and even proposals of a sexual nature. And, again, the lack of urban decor, with the ecological operators who, passing to clean up the street, were faced with glass bottles, syringes and even human urine and feces. And, in at least one case, a policeman who was carrying out a check had been attacked.

So the police have decided to take action.

"In the night between 21 and 22 September - explains an official note from the Command of Sassari - the Police Headquarters had verified the lack of surveillance, a fundamental requirement envisaged by the legislation on this type of premises. The internal lighting is not sufficient. for the scheduled checks and even the sign of the exercise is totally absent. For this reason the same Police Headquarters had proposed to the Municipality to evaluate the revocation of the license. To this were added problems of public order, health and hygiene, disturbance to public peace and violation of the anti-Covid rules ".

“The inspection carried out by local police agents - continues the Command - confirmed what was reported by the Police Headquarters, hence the closure. Now, if the owner has not restored the missing requirements within ninety days, the authorization title will be revoked ", concludes the note.
