No verdict has been reached in the Luca Goddi murder trial: the preliminary hearing judge of the Nuoro court has ordered an expert opinion on three wiretaps deemed central to the investigation and has postponed the hearing until April 1st.

The order was issued at the end of the hearing, following the parties' responses, before Judge Alessandra Ponti, who deemed it necessary to conduct a thorough technical analysis of the conversations before reaching a decision. The proceedings, conducted under an abbreviated procedure, see Pietro Contena charged with the murder of the 47-year-old man killed on August 4, 2023, in the center of Orune .

During the previous hearings, the public prosecutor Ireno Satta had requested a 20-year sentence, while the defense, represented by the lawyer Basilio Brodu, had urged an acquittal, contesting the solidity of the evidence gathered by the investigators.

The floor is now returned to the experts: the outcome of the investigation into the wiretaps could prove decisive for the sentence.
