The mobilization has arrived at the crucial moment. On Wednesday, several thousand activists from all over Sardinia will arrive in Cagliari.

The organization is still in progress, the membership data are subject to revision, but Luigi Pisci, of the Sarcidano committee, lets us know: «From the first indications in our possession, 35-40 buses are ready to ply the roads to the regional capital», he says, «about twenty from the center of the island».

Several thousand, under the banner of Pratobello 24, will demonstrate around the Regional Council Building "to ask that the territory be preserved for future generations". Not only buses: hundreds will arrive in Cagliari with their own vehicles. From 10 the large demonstration can begin. Despite the peaceful nature of the gathering, there could be some disruption to traffic: the area around the Regional Council Building is closed for work.

In the meantime, the committees are completing the process for the delivery of signatures to the Regional Council: the packages from all over Sardinia are flowing into Orgosolo, the "central" of the recount, from the Sardinian municipalities for the final approval: the number - now official - is close to 140 thousand signatures and is now very close to the monstrous figure of 150 thousand dreamed of on the eve by the committees against wind and photovoltaic energy. The proposed law of popular initiative that claims the specialty of Sardinia in urban planning matters is, for the proponents, the lever to put an end to the speculation in progress.
