The emergency started this morning. A baby just one day old had to be urgently transported from Sardinia to the Peninsula, and the 31st Wing of the Air Force entered into action.

The Falcon 900 took off from Ciampino airport in the early hours of the day for Cagliari airport where it arrived in about an hour. The newborn, who arrived from the Monserrato Polyclinic, was loaded on board in a special thermal cradle with the assistance of a medical team and accompanied by his father. At 8.40am the landing at Linate and the transfer to the San Donato Milanese Polyclinic.
