Castelsardo is preparing to celebrate New Year's Eve with a special fireworks display.

The Municipality has been awarded significant funding of approximately €377,000 through a regional call for proposals from the Department of Tourism for the organization of events related to the "New Year's Eve 2025 Events Program." The name of the artist who will take the stage to welcome 2025 has not yet been revealed. Rumors suggest singer Elisa, and a two-person lineup for the longest night of the year, but the program is still top secret.

With the municipal co-financing, the Authority will invest over €500,000 in Christmas and New Year's Eve events. "This significant financial contribution, which will allow us to organize an unforgettable December 31st night, is part of the broader program of events that will enliven our city throughout the month of December," Mayor Maria Lucia Tirotto commented. "We will have a rich, varied, and high-quality program, capable of promoting our area at the regional and national level, attracting visitors and tourists, generating a positive impact on our businesses and hospitality, and offering moments of joy, culture, and entertainment for all citizens of all ages," she added.

"A special applause and thanks goes to Tourism Councilor Giuseppe Ruzzu, whose tireless commitment, meticulous preparation of the application, and the work he did were crucial to securing this important funding."

The administration is currently finalizing all the details of the New Year's Eve program and a holiday season that will exceed all expectations.
