To understand where it is best to place the new hospital in Alghero, a careful evaluation of the various hypotheses is needed, "also involving the Department of Architecture, the technicians of the PUC and the ASL of Sassari". Alberto Bamonti, municipal councilor of the Reformers, declares this.
«This is a strategic choice that will contribute to determining (together with other factors such as, first of all, investments in technological equipment and healthcare personnel) the quality of city hospital services in the years to come; which is why it must be taken in an absolutely transparent and objective way. There is no doubt that the City Council must assume the responsibility of formulating a precise indication", explains the councilor.
