Sardinia is preparing to face yet another hellish weekend , with temperatures rising to reach 34 degrees .
Summer therefore does not seem to want to abandon the island which - after a brief respite - will give Sardinians and tourists another fiery weekend . But the heat will return forcefully throughout Italy . This is what Antonio Sanò, founder of the website www.iLMeteo.it , says: «From Sunday temperatures will begin to rise by up to 5 degrees and much of Italy will experience a new hot week».
The maximum peak will be recorded in Tuscany, where peaks of 35-36 degrees are expected. In the Po Valley, Umbria and Lazio the maximum temperatures will be slightly lower, with 34 degrees. September in the South will not give other record values, settling at 33 degrees. In the next few hours we will have the last clusters in the South with some showers between Calabria and Sicily. In fact, the Mediterranean hurricane, which is still threateningly sailing over the southern Ionian Sea, is heading decisively for Libya and will soon leave our country.
