Mushroom seeker falls and is injured: rescue operation in Arbus

A 75-year-old man was rescued by the Sardinian Alpine and Speleological Rescue in Sa Cumbua, in the Arbus area.
He had gone out with his son to go looking for mushrooms but slipped along the way, falling disastrously and injuring his ankle.
After the 118 alarm, health workers and a team of Alpine Rescue technicians from the Cagliari and Medio Campidano stations intervened on the spot.
The elderly man was recovered and taken to hospital for treatment.
