Another success for Mandas in the Murra Tournament in Villanovatulo. Davide Perra and Cristian Spano took first place in the fifth edition of the event, edging out the pairs from Serri, Villanovatulo, and Laconi, who finished second, third, and fourth, respectively. For Perra and Spano, this represents yet another confirmation of their dominance in a season of dominance. The two Murrai are also the reigning regional champions, a title they won at the 2026 Regional Murra Tournament held in Mandas, where they defeated Carlo Allegria and Leonardo Dionis of Jerzu in the final after a hard-fought match.

Beyond their results on the field, Perra and Spano represent a key figure in the island's murra movement: for sixteen years, they have organized the Mandas Regional Tournament, an event that annually attracts players from across Sardinia and the Italian mainland, contributing to the promotion of a deeply rooted tradition on the island. Their success in Villanovatulo further confirms the value of the Mandas duo, who dominated a tournament that has seen the participation of some of the region's best teams and continues to be one of the most anticipated events for murra enthusiasts.
