An internal investigation by the University Hospital has been opened to shed light on the story of the twenty-day-old child , positive for Covid, burned in the hospital just before the bath.
The baby, according to what is learned, was hospitalized in the Neonatology ward of the "Duilio Casula" Polyclinic in Monserrato because he was positive for coronavirus. During the assistance procedures, it seems a few moments before the bath, the accident that caused burns to the lower limbs and pelvis would have occurred.

As a precaution, the doctors of the "Duilio Casula" decided to transfer the Child Jesus of Rome and therefore alerted the Prefecture of Cagliari to activate the emergency transport. An ambulance was embarked on the Air Force aircraft with the infant on board in the thermal cradle, a family member and a medical team. The particular "negative pressure" ambulance helped to prevent the risk of contagion. The little boy was then transferred by ambulance to the hospital.

Fortunately, his conditions are now improving.
