Daniel Campus, 22, from Quartu, and Gianmarco and Filippo Tunis, 24 and 20, respectively, from Cagliari, will be questioned on Monday the 11th. They were arrested for aggravated voluntary manslaughter and robbery in the death of Leonardo Mocci, the 23-year-old killed with a gunshot to the chest in Monserrato on the night of April 23rd.
The Tunis brothers are being defended by lawyer Riccardo Floris, while Daniele Campus is being represented by lawyers Alberto Pani and Francesca Mannai. The lawyers are currently analyzing the pre-trial detention order signed by preliminary investigations judge Claudia Sechi, which led to the three's arrest yesterday.
In the order, the investigating judge, referring to the three, describes them as dangerous and unscrupulous. Carabinieri officers from the Cagliari and Quartu provincial command are also continuing their efforts to locate a fourth man who allegedly participated in the bloody robbery.
A drug-related robbery, carried out by a gang that may have committed other robberies before. Important evidence could emerge from the analysis of the cell phones seized from the three, which will be tested on May 12, 19, and 22.
