Missing in Fluminimaggiore, searches interrupted
In three days, no elements useful for the discovery of the 52-year-old were recovered
The searches of MF, the 52-year-old from Fluminimaggiore who left home on the afternoon of January 3, without giving any news of himself, have been suspended. The decision was taken at the end of a discussion between the entities involved in the activities which acknowledged that, despite the huge deployment of forces, no news emerged.
Once the alarm went off, that same night the search machine was set in motion by the technicians of the Alpine and Speleological Rescue of the Medio Campidano station, alerted at 10 pm by the Fluminimaggiore carabinieri.
Over the course of 3 days, over 40 square kilometers of land, paths, wells and waterways, roads and abandoned farmhouses were inspected. Also checked all the probable sightings reported and patrolled the areas indicated by the telephone operator of the man's user.
The Canine Units of the Alpine Rescue and Fire Brigade and two helicopters were also used.
Only in the event that new elements emerge will the operations be restarted.
