The Carabinieri report on the attack on four Algerian migrants that occurred Thursday evening in Monastir is before the Cagliari Prosecutor's Office. Six young men have been charged at large: they are between 18 and 20 years old, five from the town and one from Ussana. The investigation was coordinated by Captain Antonio Pagnozzi, the new commander of the Dolianova Company, and conducted with officers from the Monastir and Donori stations. Identification was made within hours, thanks to images from municipal security cameras and searches.

The raid took place along the road connecting the town to the first reception center. The victims, aged between 24 and 34, were walking home when the group, arriving in two cars, attacked them with sticks, iron bars, and rocks before fleeing. Treated by emergency medical services, the four refused hospitalization. The most seriously injured, a 27-year-old, suffered grazes to his head.

In the trunk of one of the cars, the officers found and seized a wooden stick and two iron objects measuring 60 and 90 centimeters. The raid was apparently triggered by a taunting incident that had occurred shortly before, in a local bar, at the hands of one of the migrants.
