Fly free Grazia'. With these words, entrusted to an anonymous obituary that appeared on the walls of the town, Orgosolo today greets the return of Graziano Mesina, the former red primrose of Sardinian banditry, a symbolic and controversial figure, who died last Saturday in Milan.

The funeral will be held at 11:30, in the church of San Pietro, in his hometown, where his figure - loved or discussed - has left a deep mark on the collective memory, between history, news and legend . A town, tied to his name, gathers around the family today for the last farewell. There are also those who write these words on the funeral posters on the walls: "Your teachings will always guide us. Grateful for the time spent with you".
