They no longer even know where to put the energy they “steal” from Sardinia every day . They continue to place endless expanses of silicon “grills” razing agricultural fields, vineyards and olive groves, relentlessly attacking the slopes of the Cervo Oasis between Assemini and Uta , but they don’t know what to do with those “solar” megawatts/hours. The network is saturated , incapable of using a power that is now unmanageable, the result only of the speculative greed of those who have to cash in on incentives like crazy, not caring about the environment and landscape. The “speculative” leaders, national and especially international, know well that if they want to continue making money in Sardinia they must invent a way to justify, according to the canons of financial business, so many projects, wind and photovoltaic.

The hidden direction of the “energy-speculative” system, however, is getting ready. The latest “top secret” project, still denied even to the courts of the relevant municipalities, those of Assemini and Uta, is locked away like never before in the Palaces of Rome . Nothing is known about the plans and contents of the most impressive electrochemical storage ever planned in Sardinia, except that it is a real cyclopean “bomb” of lithium, Urus Storage, named after the unknown company of the same name that wants to land on the Island, ready to be placed a stone's throw from the Capital, within the metropolitan area of Cagliari, at the crossroads between the mega-prison of Uta and the proscenium of Monte Arcosu.

The theoretically public notice and the attachments, still prohibited and classified, were signed on October 4th to build on Sardinian soil the largest lithium battery ever conceived in Italy, among the largest in the world, if not the most impressive.
