Matteo Salvini witness in Tempio, for the alleged defamation against the deputy Dario Giagoni. Starting from next June 16th, in addition to the Minister of Transport, Vice President of the Council and Secretary of the League, the regional councilor of the 5 Star Movement, Desiré Manca and the former commissioner of the Carroccio for Sardinia, Eugenio will appear before the judge Maria Gavina Monni Zoffili.
Under accusation is one of the protagonists of the birth of the League on the island. It is Marco Michi, 70, from Sassari, now a former Northern League member, on trial for the posts he allegedly published, according to prosecutor Franca Cabiddu, against the Northern League deputy from Teresino. Dario Giagoni (assisted by the lawyer Salvatore Deiana) is the civil party.
In the post indicated by the prosecutor, which appeared on a Facebook page, Giagoni is defined as "victim of a cerebral collapse, because he has no brain" and labeled with other epithets considered defamatory by the prosecutor. Yesterday, Michi's lawyer, the lawyer Vittorio Delogu, obtained the summons of Salvini as a witness. Relations between Giagoni and Michi are part of a broad story that concerns a phase in the history of the League in Northern Sardinia.
