Massive brawl among 40 guests, high tensions at the Monastir reception center
Chairs, bottles, and window frames were used as weapons. Thirteen Carabinieri and police patrols were dispatched to the scene.

A massive brawl erupted inside the Monastir Special Reception Center, where on Thursday night between thirty and forty people (including North Africans, Afghans, and Pakistanis) engaged in a no-holds-barred fight: with bare hands, but also with pieces of wood torn from window frames, chairs and tables used as blunt objects, and broken bottles.
To restore calm, a massive deployment of law enforcement was necessary: thirteen patrols of Carabinieri and police intervened.
The toll is five young Algerians injured and transported with yellow code to Brotzu for lacerated and contused wounds, plus a sixth treated on site: none are considered serious.
