The result of an accident that occurred shortly before sunset in via Circonvallazione, on the outskirts of Maracalagonis, was two injured women, transported to hospital with yellow code.

According to an initial reconstruction, for reasons yet to be ascertained, the small car they were travelling in "cut" the roundabout and crashed first into a wall and then into a lamppost.

The 118 rescuers intervened immediately, supported by the firefighters who cut the sheet metal. The women involved are not in danger of life.
