The man did not make it, he died this morning in the intensive care unit of Brotzu , where he had been hospitalized in critical conditions since Friday. His wife, a 54-year-old housewife, Daniela Serreli , had stabbed him several times in the abdomen, back and limbs .

The investigation is being carried out by the Carabinieri of the local station, assisted by the Operations and Radiomobile Unit of Quartu. The attack occurred at the height of a violent domestic dispute, the man was hit with a kitchen knife immediately seized by the military.
