"Further investigations" will be carried out on the numerous plans for the installation of large-scale renewable energy plants ( THE LIST ) affecting Sardinia.

This is what emerged from the Council of Ministers, which was also attended by Governor Alessandra Todde and which also included an initial assessment of the wind and agrivoltaic projects affecting the island.

"During the meeting," explained Minister of the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto , "the Region committed to conducting a detailed technical study aimed at identifying the projects most compatible with the environmental and territorial context." The findings of this study, he specified, "will be the subject of a subsequent proposal to be submitted to the Council of Ministers for consideration at a future meeting."

"I attended the meeting alongside Environment Councillor Rosanna Laconi to represent and defend Sardinia's interests at a particularly crucial time for the island's energy future," Todde declared after the meeting.

During the meeting, the Region reiterated its negative opinion on the projects under consideration . However, the Council of Ministers requested further technical analysis of some of the proposals, initiating a discussion phase involving the Region, local communities, and the Ministry of the Environment. Our position, the governor continued, stems from detailed technical assessments prepared by the regional offices, which will now be supplemented by careful and direct consultation with the affected areas.
