The restoration work at the Abbey of Our Lady of Paulis, in the municipality of Ittiri, is in full swing.

A major restoration and redevelopment project is transforming one of the most precious historical treasures. The goal is to return a place of immense value to the community and visitors, making it accessible and valued as it deserves.

The project involves clearing the structure of debris obscuring some of its features, creating an evocative museum tour, enriched with descriptive panels to guide visitors through the site's history, and installing a modern lighting and video surveillance system for security and nighttime enhancement. The project also includes the construction of a new entrance with a dedicated parking area. Upon completion, the archaeological site will be structured as a true "open-air museum" of primary importance for the area.
