From Porto Ferro beach with the national premiere of the Estemporada , a tribute to Michael Jackson, to the Ittireddu Volcano with Piergiorgio Milano's show "Fortuna," a regional premiere. A captivating opening for "Corpi in Movimento," the festival organized by Danzeventi.
The post-apocalyptic setting of Monte Lisiri in Ittireddu came alive with lights, and on stage the masts of boats formed a mobile scaffolding in which two artists (Milano and the French Viviene Miehe ) moved in balance like acrobats and sailors at the same time, lost in a shipwreck that speaks of love for the sea, accompanied by the musical background created by Steeve Etonno.
"This result confirms the good work we've done over the years," said Ittireddu Mayor Franco Campus . "We believe deeply in culture. We're honored to have Corpi in Movimento and to enhance our landscape. The municipal administration has also decided to make a significant investment by purchasing a property that will become the artist's home, ensuring that anyone involved in theater, dance, and music can stay with us and spend time sharing their creativity, fostering cultural growth for all."
On August 31st at 8:30 pm at the Vulcano di Ittireddu, the Zappalà Danza 2 Company will be starring with "LIF" and the ViDaVé Company with "Courage, Bad Luck Doesn't Exist".
