We learned from the media of the arrival of flights from Tel Aviv and of the presence, according to press reports, of groups linked to Israeli army reservists hosted in tourist facilities in Sardinia. This is a matter that requires immediate clarification from the Government.

This was stated by the President of the Sardinia Region, Alessandra Todde , speaking on the news of the alleged arrival of Israeli reservists on holiday in Sardinia, which is causing alarm on the island . "Once again, as happened last summer, the Sardinia Region has received no prior notification . No one has informed the regional institutions, and no one has provided useful information to understand who is organizing these trips, for what purposes, through what discussions, and under whose political responsibility," she emphasized.

Todde also draws attention to the security measures implemented for the arrival of flights . "At Cagliari-Elmas Airport, there was a significant deployment of law enforcement vehicles and personnel . If there is such a significant public order requirement, there is also a duty of maximum transparency towards institutions and citizens."

For this reason, the president asked parliamentarians from the Five Star Movement to submit a question to the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, and of the Interior, Matteo Piantedosi.

" The Government must clarify whether it was aware of the incident , who authorized or coordinated these arrivals, what relationships existed with the Israeli authorities, who ordered the security measures adopted at Elmas airport, and why the Sardinia Region was excluded from all forms of institutional communication," Todde emphasized.
