A day after the Easter Monday chaos, when dozens of motorists stranded along the 131 DCN near the Lula junction, it's time for on-site checks.

This morning, the Highway Police and ANAS technicians began a joint inspection to determine the cause of the numerous punctures that have disrupted traffic. The investigation is focusing on the area where the highest number of reports were received.

Workers are combing the asphalt and the hard shoulders for any useful evidence: any metal debris, hazardous residue, or road surface anomalies that could have caused such widespread damage in such a short space of time. The initial hypothesis of simple cracks in the asphalt has currently been ruled out, or at least is unconvincing.

Even tire dealers, who worked tirelessly yesterday to assist motorists, are reporting clear punctures, in some cases "through" punctures, which are difficult to attribute to normal road wear.

This pattern continues to raise concerns about the possible presence of sharp objects, although there is currently no official confirmation. The section of road under observation, starting from the Lula junction, is being monitored . The goal is to clarify what happened as quickly as possible and determine the actual cause.
