Children wearing makeup like monsters, a more fun than scary parade with the Sardinian Bobbotti alongside Jack Skeletron. The theatrical storytelling project “Racconti errant” returns to Sassari: the VIII edition of “Su Mortu Mortu - our Halloween” will take place on Monday 30 and Tuesday 31 October. The event is organized by the associations Tusitala storytelling and Il Corso with the artistic direction of Monica De Murtas and the collaboration with the Dessì bookshop in Largo Cavallotti.

The first appointment in the bookshop is on Monday at 6pm with a meeting on the tradition of "Su mortu mortu in Sardinia" which will end with a tasting of papassini, the Sardinian sweets typical of the feast of All Saints and the "day of the dead".

M Tuesday from 4.30pm to 5.45pm the appointment is again at the Dessì bookshop with the project dedicated to the little ones (5-10 years old) entitled "And what monster are you?" (Info and reservations 3397098432) a workshop on "nightmarish fairy tales" with children's make-up, sweets and snacks for everyone. With the help of staff make-up artists and costume designers, aspiring monsters will be able to make their Halloween costume even more terrifying and finally participate, together with the participants, in the "Su mortu mortu" procession which will start from the civic theater (Palazzo di città) at 18.

The procession will cross the historic center transforming it into an open-air theater with performers and figures from the Tusitala and Abc Animation company who will "haunt" the streets and the shop windows and the giant bubbles of Animabimbi Magorì. Along the route it will also be possible to meet the magical janas (the fairies of the Sardinian tradition) protagonists of a propitiatory dance (curated by the Jana association) in which the public will also be invited to participate. The parade will end in Piazza Tola where the party will continue until 10pm with the "Neon bubble show" bubble show.
