After two years of hiatus due to a pandemic, Sardegna Pride is back, taking place on Saturday 2 July in Sassari, starting at 6 pm from Piazza Università . Coordination brings together different associations, but the goal is common: liberation of bodies, feelings, relationships in a manifestation that affirms the fundamental right of every person to self-determination on the body and in life choices, for a " freedom without borders "as this year's motto says.

From Thursday the Public Gardens have been transformed into the Pride Village which offers workshops, meetings and lots of music.

Participants from all over the island are expected for the procession which, starting from Piazza Università, will wind along Corso Vico, Porta Sant'Antonio and Corso Vittorio Emanuele from where it will be possible to join the parade.

The organizers have in fact thought of three different starting points to meet people with reduced mobility. The third access is from piazza Castello . From there the procession will continue in via Asproni, will turn in the last stretch of via Roma and will arrive in piazza d'Italia.

Sardegna Pride 2022 coincides with the 30 years of activity of Mos, the Sardinian homosexual movement.
