Black out in Montiferru, in various neighborhoods of Milis and Santu Lussurgiu there was no electricity from yesterday evening, Friday 5th , until late morning today : many districts were dark last night in the two towns and many inconveniences in private homes.

The bad weather raging with heavy rain and strong gusts of wind has caused not only the interruption of the electricity service but also some flooding, with interventions by the Fire Brigade to make it safe and put out the flames on poles and power lines which had short-circuited .

Only the intervention of the Prefecture of Oristano unblocked the situation in Santu Lussurgiu, thanks to the report made by the president of the local Civil Protection Giovanni Pinna who, after several calls to the Enel toll-free number which were all unanswered, then contacted the territorial office of the government of Oristano.

The call to the Prefecture had the desired effects: the service was restored only in late morning, when Enel technicians arrived from Sorgono and solved the problem in the electrical substation of the public gardens.

The problem recurred again this afternoon in Santu Lussurgiu, and also in Milis, and several neighborhoods are still in the dark.
