Ready to embark with illegally held weapons hidden in the trunk of his car . The man was stopped at the Porto Torres port on Thursday, June 18, by Carabinieri officers from the local company's mobile radio unit, who reported him for illegally carrying weapons and objects capable of causing harm.

The military responded to the western pier after a report to 112 was made by security guards responsible for port boarding security. This unusual situation had raised suspicions about a man who was about to board the ship in his car. A thorough search of the vehicle revealed weapons hidden in various glove compartments : two daggers, one with a 20-centimeter blade and the other a 14-centimeter blade; two switchblades with a 9-centimeter blade; and a telescopic truncheon. These items were seized, and the man was reported to the Sassari Public Prosecutor's Office.
