An illegal connection to obtain free electricity in one's company, in defiance of any possible increase in energy costs.
This is what the carabinieri discovered in Quartu Sant'Elena during some checks on the territory .
A 44-year-old local farmer got into trouble, reported on the loose for theft of electricity.
The man, through a rudimentary bypass connected to a public light pole, obtained free electricity both for his own home and for work machinery , milking machine and more.
