Tragedy struck this morning in Iglesias, in the Serra Perdosa neighborhood: a 62-year-old man, Fabio Girau, died in front of those who had rushed to his aid after his desperate plea for help . His face and neck were covered in blood, and for several hours his death was shrouded in mystery.

Those who tried to help him activated emergency medical services, but the medical personnel arriving on the scene had to give up after a lengthy resuscitation attempt. According to the doctor who responded to the scene , death was due to natural causes, and the bleeding was the result of a fall following a sudden illness .
