Three people taken to hospital in serious, but not life-threatening conditions, following an accident involving two cars which took place on Friday evening on State Road 387, in the Settimo San Pietro area , at km 12.

It concerns a couple, who were traveling together, and a young man who was on board another car.

The two cars, due to circumstances under investigation, collided head-on. The impact was very violent, with heavy damage to both cars.

A few passing motorists raised the alarm, who alerted the carabinieri of the Quartu mobile radio unit and of the Sinnai station: some patrols diverted traffic onto side roads while some 118 ambulances and the fire brigade also arrived on the spot of Cagliari.

The occupants, who were injured, were extracted from the metal sheets and taken to the hospital, to the Brotzu and to the Monserrato Polyclinic, in red and yellow code.

The men of 115, on the other hand, took care of making the roadway safe, while the military carried out the legal findings, useful for clarifying the dynamics and responsibility for what happened.

Traffic disruptions are inevitable, up to the complete removal of vehicles.
