Head-on collision in Palau: two women die, some are injured

Tragedy last night on state road 125, near the crossroads for Stazzo Pulcheddu in the Palau area.

Two cars collided head-on due to causes under investigation. The balance is dramatic: two women - originally from Frusinate - were killed, there are also injured.

A total of five people were involved: the two victims (Agnese Sperduti, 76, and Giuseppina "Pucci" Bonanni Sassano, 59) were in a car together with two other women. In the other car only the driver, from Arzachena.

On the spot the team of the Arzachena firefighters, who freed the people trapped in the cabin.

The road was closed for over two hours. 118 and Carabinieri personnel also intervened.
