Davide Iannelli, the man who this morning, during a dispute, doused a neighbor, Antonio Cozzolino, with petrol and set him on fire, was arrested by the agents of the Olbia police station on charges of attempted murder. The events took place this morning in via Petta, in front of a popular building in the San Nicola district of the Gallura city. The clash between the two would be linked to neighborhood disputes. Cozzolino, with his clothes engulfed in flames, fled and tried to get on an Aspo urban bus. The promptness of the driver, who dropped him off and intervened with the fire extinguisher, may have saved his life. The condition of the man, transported to the burn center of the Sassari hospital, is serious and the doctors have reserved the prognosis.
