Since the early hours of today, the Carabinieri of the RIS of Cagliari have carried out a detailed inspection in Quartu at the house where Alessandro Pintus, 39, last Thursday shot and killed his brother Andrea, 42, three times, and in Solanas at the bar where he attempted to kill his wife, Michela Rubiu, 47, by shooting her in the back of the head, leaving her on the brink of death.

The Carabinieri specialists, coordinated by Colonel Andrea Berti, are working to reconstruct the shooting dynamics in detail: establishing the sequence of shots fired and the positions of Alessandro, his wife, and his brother.

The RIS staff will certainly have to verify, in light of the inspections, the spontaneous statements given on Saturday by the confessed criminal to the investigating judge Ermengarda Ferrarese during the validation interrogation.

The thirty-nine-year-old only spoke about the two moments in which he fired the gun, choosing not to answer the investigating judge's questions about the other elements in the dispute.

Meanwhile, the military personnel of the Quartu Sant'Elena company are continuing their investigation into the motive, which is still unclear.
