"Three of them squeezed my ass, I turned around and they disappeared. Or at least they tried to." CS, the young woman who was molested yesterday afternoon on Via Roma, Cagliari, speaks.
The girl, she says, was walking around the city centre when she was groped.
"I didn't run away," she is keen to point out, "in fact, I called the Carabinieri on the phone and, in shock, I coordinated the entire marina with precise directions." Several people approached to comfort her, while the molesters, two twenty-year-old Algerians who had been staying at the CAS in Monastir in Sardinia for a few weeks, were "arrested on Via Porcile" and taken to prison.
Thanks then to the Carabinieri at the Via Nuoro station: "They were incredibly efficient and quick. Thanks to my help, they found two of the three boys in six minutes, and they took them straight to the station with a complaint of sexual assault. I truly have to thank the Carabinieri for their speed, their help, and their words of comfort."
A situation of insecurity that unfortunately is not new to her: " I work at the Avions Bar, right next to the Municipality, which I ask for help every day because we don't feel safe working there ."
