Grillo trial for rape: one of the key witnesses does not appear

A key witness, a friend of the alleged victim, did not appear. In the courtroom, however, the friend of the young woman accuses Ciro Grillo, Francesco Corsiglia, Vittorio Lauria and Edoardo Capitta of gang rape, for the violence that allegedly took place in July 2019 in a villa in Porto Cervo.
The trial against the son of the founder of the Movimento 5 Stelle and his friends, all Genoese and in their early twenties, resumed this morning in court in Tempio .
The testimony of a young Milanese was expected, who would have gathered the confidences of the girl after the violence. But at the opening of the hearing he was not in the Gallura courthouse. If he does not present valid justifications, the judge could order his forced accompaniment.
On the other hand, another witness whose statements are considered relevant is ready to speak: a friend with whom messages were also allegedly exchanged, on her return to Milan after the holiday in Sardinia which turned into a nightmare.
