Two cultural initiatives, one of which on the great Sardinian writer and Nobel Prize winner, Grazia Deledda, and the other on the theme of music and "diversity", characterize the activities of the Arzachena schools these days. Promoting them is the delegate for Public Education, Michele Occhioni.

Last January 11th, the awards ceremony for the project "At school with Grazia Deledda - towards the 100th anniversary of the Nobel Prize" took place at the AMA, Multidisciplinary Auditorium Arzachena, in which 150 pupils from comprehensive schools 1 and 2 participated.

«A literary and educational journey - wrote the municipal administration - with the aim of telling the Sardinian writer to the new generations, as an example of strength and determination in life and work. The lessons were designed by Professor Maria Antonietta Azara and the cultural association Liberamente Me, according to the results of the latest discoveries in the Deleddian field."

The other initiative is scheduled for Friday 19 January at 11am, at the same municipal theatre. This is the school project "School tour of the Carrozzelle Thieves group", which arrives in Arzachena to talk about integration and diversity through music.

The initiative is organized by the Five Lights association and is sponsored by the Municipality through the delegate for Public Education, Michele Occhioni. The event, according to the presentation poster, is «a mix of sounds, lights, images and words that introduce the theme of “diversity” as the absolute protagonist, focusing on the desire for integration and valorization of personal abilities».
